Examiner.com went backstage at Lela Rose Fall 2014 presentation to get the low down on the gorgeous beauty look seen on the runway. Today on Feb. 13 we are excited to share our interviews. Designer Lela Rose coupled her always feminine frocks with hair and makeup so romantic and full of whimsy, the beauty look stood on its own. The beauty look took it's inspiration from Spanish Catalan chef Ferran Adrià's famous oysters, so it was all about the shimmer.

When it came to the eyes, it was all about the shine! Lead makeup artist Romy Soleimani for Beauty.com started with Boots No. 7 Intense Eye Cream before adding in the metallic glitter on both the lids and around the eye. The eye was prepped with Boots No. 7 Beautiful Skin Vitality Eye Roll-On and then Kevyn Aucoin’s Loose Shimmer Shadow in citrine was dabbed on along with a ton of glitter. To go with the intense eye, a simple lip gloss was applied to the lips (Kevyn Aucoin's Dahliana).

Ted Gibson created the ultimate wedding updo with something he penned the "twist and shout." Gibson rolled hair around the hairline repeatedly until he reached the nape. The stylist then added a pearl pin to emphasize that pear inspiration.

On the nail side, Butter London's Katie Jean Hughes created something she called "floating nail art." Hughes started with butter LONDON Patent-Gel Top & Tails Set and then added butter LONDON nail foundation along with a stripe of butter LONDON polish in Alabaster Gaze (available in April). She then filled in nail's top-half with two layers of Alabaster Gaze.
