Jan. 28-Feb. 5. Based on Oscar Wilde’s adaption of the biblical story this opera depicts Salome’s disturbing obsession with John the Baptist, which drives her to make a shocking request. She wants the head of the Prophet as a reward for performing the sensuous Dance of the Seven Veils. Peggy Sawyer has just arrived from Allentown and has a dream to perform on Broadway. Julian Marsh is a famed director and is in the middle of producing what may be his last Broadway show. Inspired by the work of Pete and his grandson, A Hammer, A Bell, and A Song to Sing celebrates the history of change in America through song, story, and spoken word. Dividing The Estate
Jan 14th – Feb 12th This is the West Coast premiere for this play that was Nominated for a 2009 Tony Award for Best Play! Written by Pulitzer Prize winner Horton Foote, this comedy is about family, money, power and greed. How much does who you know and how you know them change your life? What can happen if you don’t keep your word? This world premier play follows three men from different backgrounds and challenges the audience to rethink the meaning of friendship and where loyalty has its limits.
