What is Animal Cafe?
Animal Cafe combines a fresh podcast published weekly and a live interactive chat which will take place each Wednesday evening at 9PM EST. Both the podcast and chat room are available online and are accessible to all.
Animal Cafe will feature topics dealing with all aspects of animal care and its guests will be authors, activists, trainers, veterinarians, media personalities, industry movers and shakers, and assorted experts and enthusiasts within the animal world.
How can I participate in Animal Cafe?
That's simple. Just listen to the weekly podcast. It will be published each Monday. Then join the chat on Wednesday evening. Bring your questions, comments, suggestions and opinions and enjoy talking with other animal lovers.
Animal Cafe guests
Animal Cafe's guest for this week is Marjie Alonso, the President and Executive Director of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). The podcast is already live and discusses the IAABC and their upcoming conference in Rhode Island. The corresponding chat will take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2011.
Guests scheduled for future weeks include Jacque Redford (long time breeder of Rhodesian Ridgebacks) to discuss breeding tips and techniques. Also scheduled are Mary-Alice Pomputious (pet travel blogger and expert) to discuss traveling with a small dog and Jane Velez-Mitchell (best selling author and host of CNN HLN's Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell).
