Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KOs) will face Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12 KOs), as the excitement builds for their much anticipated rematch later tonight. The event is being presented by Top Rank, and televised on HBO Pay-Per-View from the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.
The buzz here in Las Vegas appears to favor Pacquiao winning the fight. When the two met in 2012, many thought Pacquiao won the fight by a large margin, but the judges gave Bradley the win. It was a win that haunted Bradley, as he would have to endure harsh and brutal criticism from both fans and media.
Nearly two years have past since their first fight, Bradley has posted wins over Ruslan Provodnikov and Juan Manuel Marquez, while Pacquiao lost to Juan Manuel Marquez by way of brutal knockout. Pacquiao would later beat Brandon Rios by a huge margin, simply schooling Rios in the sweet science.
Without a doubt this is a tough fight to pick a winner, true Pacquiao is well past his prime, but his level of speed and power remain a dangerous combination for any opponent.
For Timothy Bradley, tonight will be his opportunity to settle the score. He will be a stronger, quicker and more focused Bradley than the first meeting. So, who wins? We all do, fans will witness two great fighters going toe-to-toe and fighting at the highest level possible.
