Excision's The X Tour fuses aggressive bass drops, massive dubstep subwoofers and state of the art lights into a mind-blowing audio/visual experience. Canadian dubstep producer Excision, aka Jeff Abel, will be dropping 100,000 watts of sound at the Ogden Theatre for two days, Feb. 16 and 17.
Excision will be joined by PK Production's next level 18-foot subwoofers that were designed exclusively for dubstep and peak at 100,000 watts of bass. In addition the "X Vision" lighting system features intellegent video mapping technology, an experience not to miss.
According to Beatport, an online electronic music store, "Excision shows are like no other- a virtual apocalypse of twisting and morphing sounds turn massive crowds into a frenzy, as virtual walls of bass are relentlessly impaled time and time again upon their fragile bodies and ears. Bass will rain down from above for hours as Excision’s skills as a DJ and producer shine like an unholy light from the underworld."
The X Tour will also feature openers Liquid Stranger, Lucky Date, Dodger and Dirt Monkey. Excision's most recent album "X Rated," was released September 2011 on Deadmau5's record label mau5trap.
To get a taste of his signature driving dubstep you can download Excision's Shambhala 2011 mix for free off his official Facebook page.
This prominent dubstep producer hails from Kelowna, British Columbia. He has collaborated several times with popular dubstep producers Datsik and Downlink. Excision released his first album "No Escape" in 2007 and has been growing strong and headlining shows across the world since.
Tickets for The X Tour are now on sale through the Ogden Theatre website, two-day passes are also available. Whether you're into dubstep or not, this is an event not to miss. Excision will have this Mile High City raging through the night.
