Do you have books, CDs, DVDs that are no longer read or used? On Saturday, August 31, Recycle Livingston, will be holding an book, CD, and DVD exchange from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. You can turn in items that you no longer want, for new to you items you do want. Items that do not find a home at the exchange will be responsibly recycled.
If you have a lot of paper to get rid of, Shredding Day will be coming up on Sept. 21, from 9:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Recycle Livingston pays for shredding trucks to come in on specific days to help the community and it's members. To keep operations running and available to the community, Recycle Livingston relies on help from memberships, donations and fund raising. Membership entitles you to unlimited recycling during operating hours. You can still recycle if not a member, but there will be a $3 gate cost to enter. Recycle Livingston, located at 170 Cantrel in Howell, is always looking for volunteers who can help out with the exchange on Saturdays.
