Called The Taste of Renaissance Florentine, the tour is being offered with a visit to Villa La Massa hotel and will be escorted by Andrea Ghittonelli, a renowned local art historian.

Highlights include:

  • A private visit to the Palazzo Corsini al Prato, where guests will receive a tour of the Palace and its art collection with Princess Donna Georgiana, before enjoying a hosted lunch in the Palace’s Baroque gardens.
  • A visit to Antico Setifico Fiorentino, an ancient silk factory, where 17th Century looms are still used today to create bespoke textiles.
  • Time to explore the extensive Villa di Celle where owner and art collector Guiliano Gori will show his private collection of land art, specifically commissioned for this spectacular property.
  • Gourmet dinners at Villa La Massa, culminating in a special concert at the famous Chiesa di San Giovanni.

Rates for The Taste of Renaissance in Florence art tour range from £5,498 (€6,610) per room based on two people sharing a deluxe room on a half board basis. Price includes all activities and meals and is limited to 15 people.
