With the unanimous No. 1 team in last week’s polls, North Carolina, getting knocked off by UNLV, there has been a major shakeup in this week’s Examiner.com college basketball Top 25. Kentucky, Ohio State, Duke and North Carolina all received first place voted in this week’s rankings and the separation between first and second is closing in.
Harvard and Saint Louis made their debut appearance in the polls while Texas A&M and Florida State fell from the polls.
The Big East and SEC both led the Top 25 rankings with five teams each in the college basketball Top 25, followed by the Big 12 (3), Big Ten (3), ACC (2), Pac-12 (2), Atlantic 10 (2), WCC (1), Ivy League (1) and C-USA (1).
