Esteemed clothing designer Jonathan Cohen has gotten into cahoots with luxury-chic haircare brand Shu Uemura Art of Hair to create two limited edition beauty bags. For the first bag, Cohen took inspiration from a soon-to-be coveted design from his Fall/Winter 2014 ready-to-wear collection. Both bags feature a modern interpretation of the traditional polka dot pattern with Cohen's, "Dripping Dots" design on a royal blue.
The larger bag has two compartments and measures 8" X 4.5" X 3.5" and is purported to be the ultimate travel case. Your gentle writer has no experience with the larger bag as we have not seen it in person, nor held it in our hands. The smaller case measures 8" X 3.5" X 1.5" and should fit easily into most purses.
The travel cases are comprised of Europrene water-resistant material and feature a canvas lining to safeguard its contents. The material does not feel like canvas. It feels like a mixture of cotton and polyester. It's black. They are made here in the States and feature a gunmetal zipper with Cohen's signature. It's nice! We like the zipper.
While we also did not receive the contents of either case, they are supposed to hold Shu Uemura Art of Hair's travel size shampoos, conditioners, Essence Absolue, Volume Maker and Touch of Gloss. These items would have to be pretty small to fit into the small case at one time. However, we cannot be certain.
