Celebrities often take on the title of “hero,” whether or not they ever save a life. However, ex-WWE star Chris “The Masterpiece” Masters has now rightfully earned notable recognition as a "hero" outside of his wrestling days. According to a TMZ report dated Wednesday, March 20, the muscle man saved his mother in a fire.
TMZ reveals that, Masters (Chris Mordetzky) ran to his mother’s rescue as she was in serious danger. After receiving a call from his uncle yesterday about an emergency, he rushed to her L.A. home. Apparently a neighbor had ‘gone crazy’ and decided to barricade himself inside her home.
When Chris arrived to the scene, the neighbor was shouting through the front door that he would burn the house down if anyone tried to get inside. Though Chris tried talking sense into the unstable neighbor, he simply wasn’t able to get through to him. The wrestler then called the cops, but when they showed up, the crazy neighbor already had the home going up in flames.
TMZ then reveals, “Chris jumped into hero mode – tearing a tree out of the ground and tossing it through a window.”
The former WWE man then reached through the window, and retrieved his mother from the fire. The police rushed into the home, and arrested the neighbor on arson charges.
If it weren't for Chris' strength, and yanking the tree out of the ground with his bare hands, his mother may not be here today.
The reason why the neighbor went off the deep end remains unknown at this point, but he is definitely still in custody. Maybe after the dangerous neighbor gets his sentencing, he will have learned his lesson to never mess with a former WWE star’s mother out of all people.
