Evolution debate between Ken Ham and Bill Nye shows intellectual gap

See also

Bill Nye, the Science Guy, accepted Ken Ham's (creationist leader) invitation to debate evolution and the debate was held recently, and broadcast live over the internet. If you missed it, you can view it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6kgvhG3AkI

There was a lot of chatter on social sites both before and after the debate. Many atheists did not want Nye to debate Ham because they felt it would lend an air of legitimacy to a perspective which is ridiculous. But after watching it, that attitude changed, as Nye was the overwhelming winner, and Ham ended up with eggs on his face.

There is no question that evolution is a fact. There are "theories" that abound, which seek to explain the mechanisms involved in the process of evolution, but there is zero doubt among 99% of all scientists and rational people that evolution happened, and continues to happen, and will continue to happen. Ignoring the abundant evidence won't change the facts.

If you're one of the few who thinks Ham and Creationists are 'right'... please educate yourself. There are many sites online which give excellent explanations of evolution. I recommend you begin with an educational site designed for students, as the science will be laid out clearly and simply for you.
