For game #8, Evo held a poll earlier in the year in which the internet voted for what game they wanted to see the most at Evo. Any game that garnered over 500 votes can take this prestigious spot for Evo. The game that raises the most money for breast cancer charity is the game that will make it into Evo 2013.Now let's see how magnanimous the Super Smash Bros Melee community is because that game received the most votes by far. I'm very happy about the game selection here. Usually, Evo only has six games. Even last year, they had to charge people $10 to watch Sunday's final showcase because of the overwhelming amount of people that signed up. I will say that I'm surprised that Mortal Kombat 9 made it again this year considering their dwindling numbers. Street Fighter x Tekken will be 1v1 instead of 2v2. Hopefully the changes made in v2013 will make it a fun game to watch.
Evo will be taking place at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas from July 12-14.
