Long awaited, long range caster Evie makes her way into Vindictus along with significant changes to the token system. Paired with Halloween events and decorations, Evie and increased token allotments should satiate many a rabid Vindictus fan.
Evie is the quintessential long range caster mage-type that begins the game with massive fireballs, magic missiles, a mana shield, and a whack-a-mole staff. Eventually Evie can learn more types of magic such as a summoned golem and even healing for her allies.
As an added incentive for players who have been around for a while to try Evie out, anyone who can take a fresh Evie to level 15 during October 27th to November 9th will recieve a free Hair Trade Coupon (30 days).
The token system in Vindictus is a lot like fatigue in many other F2P games (Nexon's Dungeon Fighter Online, for instance), you essentially have a limited amount of boat rides you can take to various dungeons, and if you play "too much" in one day, that token cost keeps rising up to 4 tokens for a single trip.
Back in beta tokens were scheduled to refill to 50 twice a week. now players will be alloted their 50 tokens three times a week, which should allow players plenty of dungeon crawling without having to purchase Platinum Tokens from the cash shop.
For the especially voracious Vindictus player, Platinum Tokens are now available for a reduced cost (Players who purchased at the old price will be given the difference in tokens).
If you're one of the Vindictus players that were waiting to put down their Fiona or Lann and get their hands on Evie, now's your chance.
