The Summer Set is, arguably, one of the hardest working bands in the music business today. Bouncing from tour to tour for the better part of the last two years, The Summer Set have still managed to complete their second full length, Everything’s Fineset to release July 19th. With catchy hooks and head-bobbing rhythms it’s only a matter of time before you start hearing this quintet all over pop radio.
Over the spring, The Summer Set made a stop in Seattle with All Time Low and Yellowcard as part of the Dirty Work Tour. As the first of the three tour openers, The Summer Set got the crowd moving with their high-energy stage show, and set the pace for a night of great music. The crowd sang along to favorites “Chelsea” and The Boys You Do (Get Back at You) and when The Summer Set pulled out the first single from their upcoming album, fans did not miss a beat.
They will not be making it to Seattle on their current tour with We the Kings, but keep an eye out for early fall. The Summer Set is definitely a show you do not want to miss.
