Everything is Terrible and SBS Slumber Party!!!

See also

On Saturday night, everyone’s favorite local salon, Strange Beauty Show, and video collective, Everything is Terrible, host an evening of classic sleepover shenanigans.

Re-connect with your pre-teen self through board games, fashion fun, movies, pizza, punch, and limited parental supervision.

It will be sort of like locking yourself in your high school bedroom and turning up the Clueless soundtrack really loud… only better.

Everything is Terrible will debut a collection of awesome 1980’s and 1990’s VHS clips, taking party guests on a roller coaster of awkwardness straight back the formative years. SBS sylist LO W, will keep the party going with a playlist of your favorite nineties jams.

If for some reason, your wardrobe has changed during the last several decades, ask Mom for an advance on your allowance and create your throwback look on the spot at the Wild Heart Vintage pop-up shop. Revive Nail Company will be on hand to provide polish changes and nail art.

Enjoy complimentary punch served by guest bartender, Creepy Dad.

Dress for the occasion! Wear your favorite pajamas, and receive half off your first haircut at Strange Beauty Show.

Definitely ask your parents for permission (no angry phone calls from Mom if you’re up past your bedtime, please!), and come on over to Strange Beauty Show for a night of girly hijinks -first to fall asleep is fair game for pranks… consider yourself warned!

The Slumber Party happens this Saturday, June 21st at Strange Beauty Show located at 1118 N. Ashland from 7:00PM -10:00PM. Contact Virginia Olenick at Virginia@strangebeautyshow.com or call the salon at 773-252-9522 for further details.
