  • The Door Christian Fellowship 2010 International Bible Conference continues. See Wednesday for more info.
  • Celebration of Life Art Show worshipping God through artistic talents in many venues at LifeGate Church. A cafe is also set up for people to purchase refreshments during the course of the show. 10555 Edgemere El Paso, TX 79925 See Wednesday for more info.

  • Alfresco! Fridays: Art’s Festival Plaza (adjacent to the Plaza Theatre and El Paso Museum of Art) 5:30pm Free. Open to the public. In 2010, Alfresco! Friday’s enters its 8th season. Alfresco Friday’s provides a casual way to experience some of the best established and upcoming local bands. Originally conceived as a way of keeping employees downtown at the start of the weekend, the concerts quickly became a draw for visitors to downtown. The upcoming season will feature Jazz, Latin, Reggae, Classic Rock, 70's, Funk, Mariachi and more.

  • Willy Wonka El Paso KIDS-N-CO. presents this musical version of the book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” by Roald Dahl. Words and music are by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newly, with the stage adaptation by Leslie Bricusse and Timothy A. McDonald. In the play, five golden tickets have been hidden in five Wonka chocolate bars and the five kids who find them are invited to tour Wonka’s secret candy factory and meet the maestro of sweets himself.   • Logos Ministries-Food Bank Challenge: The Logos youth group would like to invite all the church youth groups to unite with us in a food drive. The drive will be to assist women and children in our neighbor city of Juarez that have been left without a parent due to the violence occurring in our border town. We asking for any and all canned goods, rice, beans, pampers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, clothes in good condition for babies and toddlers, pencils, notebooks, crayons, backpacks that are in good condition. All of the items will be taken to Juarez to different orphanages that are in need of a helping hand. Thank you in advance for your help.
