As a baby we entered this world bundled in a cozy blanket depending totally on our surroundings to supply our every need; and miraculously enough our every wish was granted. Oh how secure and content we must have felt lying next to that wonderful human being we later learned to call mom.
Yes we all arrive the same way but as time progresses we grow and mature. That innocent baby learns to walk, run and play. Noone stays a baby forever though; before you know it that cuddly bundle of joy turns into a teen which blossoms into a young adult on its way to the responsibilities of adulthood.
Life has many ups and downs, there are moments of beauty and moments of extreme sadness but life is a gift from God. And although we may have arrived the same way eventually we need to realize that God is the one that created us. And the love that our mother gave us from the beginning actually came from the creator of heaven and earth. You see God is love! Now you may say “what is the point of saying all of this?” .Well the point is that God is our real father and mother. We may love our parents and they may be great people or they may have not been so great regardless God is always good and he always loves us with a perfect love!
When a person becomes born-again he returns to the father and starts to build a relationship with him, but it is important to know that God has always loved us! We just didn't always realize that he did. We can be taught many things by our parents, some great, some good and some not so good; but the truth is we need to return to the word of God (Bible) in it we learn of God’s mercy and love for mankind. A love so strong that he sent his only begotten son into the world to save humanity, that my friends is God’s love!
Alot of people wish they could live their lives over and make better choices. How many times have you heard people say “oh if I only had my time back I would do things different”. Well the truth is we all make mistakes, that is part of being human and noone can avoid making some mistakes or having some problems in life. In fact many of those problems and difficulties make us more compassionate and stronger. But an exciting fact is that God can cleanse us and make us new. I urge you to read the the Book of John in the new testament. It is a famous place to start in the Bible for new Christians the third chapter talks about being born again. Maybe we cannot live our lives over but we can become new creatures in Christ Jesus. That my friends is even better! God can forgive you and cleanse you and in actual fact you become a new creation; your spirit becomes brand new. And that is the real you! You are not just a bunch of experiences and decisions, instead you are a gift from God and he desires to make you brand new in spirit. God bless you friends!
