NYFW starts this week, however Fashion Style Month is celebrated throughout September on QVC. To help kickoff the event, Seth Aaron Henderson, winner season seven of Lifetime's "Project Runway" and season three of "Project Runway All Stars," has spoken exclusively with the Women’s Style Examiner on Wednesday to discuss the latest fashion trends and his new successful line of fashion-forward apparel for QVC.
Although SethAaronFashion has received high praise in the past during New York Fashion Week and other runway shows, the fashion designer/stylist has chosen to skip this year as his work schedule is currently too demanding. According to Seth, “I will not be showing at NYFW this time. I have been working on the success and launch of my new collections with QVC. This is the opportunity I have worked so hard for, and it deserves my full attention. Work hard play later.” However, the fashion commentator for Marie Claire, “E!,” Lifetime, and Style is “truly ecstatic” to present his latest fashion trends for the upcoming seasons to QVC viewers the first two weeks of September.
“Expect nothing less than a modern and stylish collection with a bit of rebellion” from Henderson’s new QVC line, SA by Seth Aaron. Seth “wants everyday to be a fashion show” with his “stylish yet affordable looks, which are sure to amp up any wardrobe.” Head back to work or school this fall with “figure-flattering pencil skirts, skinny pants and tailored jackets,” with the line that could be characterized as “posh, vintage-inspired feminine and edgy,” for those fashionistas that have a touch of a 'punk-rocker attitude.” But don’t let the fashion terms skinny pants or pencil skirts fool you, as SA by Seth Aaron is “wearable for all shapes and sizes.”
SA by Seth Aaron has taken the current legging fashion trend and morphed it into work or club apparel with his faux leather legging and knit legging with pocket detail for today’s “fashion-minded people who like to live outside the box.” We discussed the trend at length, after a recent report about the drop in denim sales had surfaced and the recent yoga pant phenomenon has taken over. Seth Aaron Henderson believes the future of denim is intact stating, “Denim will always be in style like a t-shirt, but now there are more options available like leather leggings and modern trousers. As far as yoga pants go, they can be cute and appropriate for some occasions. Monday through Sunday is not an occasion, if you get what I'm putting down.”
In lieu of NYFW, catch Seth Henderson’s humor in action and see his stylistic presentation of his new fashion line, SA by Seth Aaron, on QVC Monday, September 8 and Monday, September 15. Both days will air at 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. EST, earlier on the West Coast.
