The perfect little black dress is not something that you just pick up anywhere. Take time to find the prefect one since it will be come a staple and your go to dress for everything to your best friend's wedding to a funeral. Find a dress that expresses your personality with special little details but at the same time is a classic silhouette like a sheath or a wrap (wrap dresses never go out of style just ask DVF!) so when trends change your dress won't go out of style leaving you without your trusty staple and in search of a new one. Also, don't take the 'black' part literally. If you find the perfect dress for you that happens to be a different color but you know fits the bill then go for it. You want to feel comfortable and look your best and if black isn’t your color break the rule!

Check out the slide show and check out some amazing little black dresses to add to your wardrobe today and tell me, do you own a little black dress and if so what's your favorite silhouette? Let's discuss!
