Every gay matters at Minneapolis Pride 2010!
Pride symbolizes being proud, not really that of being gay, but proud of being able to stand up and be who you are inside.
Don’t miss this year’s gay pride celebration in the Twin Cities! Over 125,000 people didn’t miss it last year.
The Pride Festival this year is on Saturday, June 26th, with the Pride Parade on Sunday, June 27th at 11am.
The parade is like a fantabulous may day parade only the gay way with more sex, drugs, rock’n’roll, martinis, unicorns, and rainbows. It’s surely the best place to people watch on the planet.
The parade starts in Minneapolis on 3rd street and Hennepin avenue and follows Hennepin south to Loring Park.
Loring Park during the festival is still the place to be with venders you know and venders you don’t. Saturday (10 am to 10 pm) and Sunday (10 am to 6 pm).
Pride this year occurs exactly 40 years after the New York City Stonewall Riots.
As Pride approaches this year, you can find all of what you need to know from Lavender Magazine or the web, as I will be out of the country unable to inform you.
