Evernote will organize your knitting

Evernote is a note taking and storing device program. It can record a fiber lecture, video or take handwritten notes to review later. There is no need to press save, your notes are automatically saved. Sharing is a easy as pressing the "share" button. This is a way to manage your knitting patterns, organize your stash, needles and more. All your knitting information can be in one place.

The program is available for your laptop, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Andriod phone and tablet, Windows 7 phone, Blackberry phone, the Blackberry PlayBook, and the Palm Pre and Pixi. Evernote has the ability to synchronize with these other devices. All that is needed is an internet connection. Evernote is free, unless you want to upgrade to Evernote Premium. The free version allows up to 60MB of storage.

Save knitting/crochet/weaving patterns you like and completed items you see.  A great way to save new techniques. To find what you are looking for, you can search by keyword, tag, printed and even handwitten text from a page or photograph.

There is also Evernote "Skitch" for designers. Here you can use shapes and sketches along with text. Evernote "Clearly" removes all but the important information. That means advertisements, whether on a pattern, blog post, article or webpage are removed. This allows you to read just what you want, clean and easy.
