After months of dealing with rain, Seattle residents are more than ready for some spring weather!

What better way to celebrate the upcoming season than at the free Evergreen Spring Festival. The two day gala is held at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds features music, a live trout fishing pond, carnival rides, a BBQ championship, a kid’s zone, animals, exhibits, vendors and more.

The zipper cost 5 tickets to ride while the other rides are all 3 or 4 tickets each

Root Beer Garden:
Enjoy root beer floats are available for $3 Located in the KidZone

Trout fishing
Children, 12 and under, can fish for trout at the large 37-inch deep, 20-by-8-foot pond casting pond. Stocked with nearly 1,000 trout. All gear is provided, kiddos can release their trout or keep their catch for dinner! This fun event is sponsored by Les Schwab Tire Centers and hosted by Everett Steelhead and Salmon Club.
