Meet staff and volunteers in the East Tiger Mountain Summit Parking lot between 11:00am and 3:00pm. As a bonus free guided rides will be available at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on the new trails. In April, volunteers and staff came together to work on and clean trails in preparation of the opening season. Mountain Biking on Tiger Mountain has been available since the early 1990’s. However, recently grants from Washington Wildlife & Recreation Program and Nonhighway & Off-Road Vehicle Activities Program enabled development of the new trails. Future development and on-going maintenance of 25 miles of trails was secured through additional funding sources.

These newly developed trails are good news for all bicyclists. Evergreen’s work to develop trails in Washington State has enhanced Washington’s status as a Bicycle-Friendly State. Whether a state has a plan or agreement for mountain bike trails is one of the areas assessed by the League of American Bicyclists when evaluating a state for the Bicycle-Friendly America Program.

You are invited to learn more about the mountain biking trails at East Tiger on Evergreens’s website. Specific Tiger Mountain info is located at http://evergreenmtb.org/wiki/index.php?title=Tiger.
