The Count Basie Theater, a 1926 historic theatre, is located in the heart of downtown Red Bank, New Jersey. Just minutes from the ocean, Red Bank is a beautiful and charming town built on the banks of the Navesink River. Red Bank is a walking town, with restaurants and hotels right in the vicinity of the Count Basie on Monmouth Street.
Vocal and musical artists from Atlantic City and Las Vegas venues make a yearly performance stop at the Count Basie. During the next two months, performances and ballet for the Christmas season explode on the Count Basie stage.

The Count Basie has over 130,000 visitors per year. It was renamed from the Carlton Theater in 1972 for its Red Bank resident William "Count" Basie. Tony Bennett has called it his favorite place to perform. The Count Basie has all the charm of a country theater with big name starts from New York City and California. In 1974 New Jersey's own Bruce Springstein performed at the The Count Basie.
