Family hike and stargazing
This Friday, March 8, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. "Inside the Outdoors" is having an Astronomy night at Rancho Sonado in Silverado. Everyone is invited to hike the trails that lead to organized gazing sites, use the telescopes to gaze at the night sky whose stars are shining above, and learn about the legends of the Constellations and how they got their names.
While this program is geared to families, children must be at least 8 years old. Reservations are required, call (714) 708-3885 for information or to register. The cost is $5 per person or $25 for the family, which ever is more economical.

On Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the 'Next level Sports complex' in Garden Grove, the 7th annual Jamboree will feature over 70 Exhibitors. This is Orange County's largest Fair giving parents the opportunity to come face-to-face with representatives of outdoor summer camps, family travel destinations and performing arts programs.
