As predicted, the band known as SWEET FIX is now headlining NYC shows – the SF boys will be performing at the Canal Room on Friday, March 1st. Lead guitarist, Ivan Anderson, has been busy writing new songs – debuting “Sometimes It’s All Too Much” on Friday night. As with most of Ivan’s melodic productions, real emotions and moral dilemmas are showcased and explored; fans are just as moved by the music as they are by the messaging.
As a band, the boys continue to hone and highlight their artistically innovative performances. SWEET FIX is a blend of strong talents – each selflessly making room for the others to seamlessly express their musicality. Fan favorites, “Do You Wanna Sneak Out?” and “Help Is On The Way” harken back to “Sparks in the Dark” and are always crowd-pleasing. Newer songs, such as a Rolling Stones-influenced, “Last Night of Our Lives” offers inspiring lyrics despite the veiled references to the Mayan calendar – another gem from gifted guitarist and songwriter Ivan Anderson. Frontman Tommy Walker, backed by bassist Bill (Wilhelmus) Sapanaro, drummer Marco Santini, and keyboardist Jeff Manian, always delivers an energy-filled, memorable performance.
SWEET FIX has recently partnered with PledgeMusic, a company that combines funding and fans with their favorite bands. By participating in fundraising campaigns, fans are able to help bands raise money for production, distribution, promotion, and all of the many costs incurred on the road to fame. In return, fans are given exclusive access to content and various experiences such as attending private rehearsals to dinner with the band!
