There will be some serious talent taking the stage this summer at STAPLES Center. It’s no wonder that an announcement is being made now for a concert in August.
This artist has sold over 23 million albums and has had 54.5 million song downloads worldwide. She’s a small town girl from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania who pursued a career in country music at the age of 14. Taylor Swift is now 22-years-old with over 20 million twitter followers and more than 35 million fans on Facebook, and she will be showcasing her talent on August 19 and 20 at STAPLES Center in support of what is said to be the most anticipated musical event of 2013, The RED Tour.
On The RED Tour, Taylor is currently slated to headline 58 shows in 45 cities in 29 states and 3 provinces in 2013. The tour will kick-off on March 13 in Omaha, Nebraska and continue through September (watch the announcement here).
The RED Tour will be produced and promoted by The Messina Group (TMG). At Taylor’s request, every show will include tickets priced at under $50. The first tickets will go on sale on November 16th, and on-sale information is available now at www.taylorswift.com and www.abcnews.com. TMG is a partner of AEG Live, one of the top live entertainment companies in the world, which produces world tours featuring internationally renowned artists and regional concerts and festivals.

Swift has done more in the past 8 years than most musicians will do in their entire careers. This bright country start has already won six Grammy Awards, ten American Music Awards, seven Country Music Association Awards, six Academy of Country Music Awards and thirteen BMI Awards.
