This summer at the Walt Disney World Resort, guests can take part in three new evening events. These special events take place on select nights in the theme parks. The events include:
IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party
The IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party will take place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at Epcot from 7:45 p.m. to 9:20 p.m. Guests will enjoy delicious desserts from around the world, perfectly paired with sparkling wines in a VIP viewing area for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, located behind the Duffy the Disney Bear shop. The price for the event is $49 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $29 per child (ages 3 – 9), tax and gratuity is included.
Epcot After Hours Wind Down
Taking place Thursdays through Sundays from 9:20 p.m. to 11 p.m., Epcot After Hours Wind Down is an after-hours dining event that takes place in one of four theme park lounges. After the park closes, guests can enjoy international tapa-size plates paired with wine. Lounge choices include La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion, Rose & Crown Pub in the United Kingdom Pavilion, Spice Road Table in the Morocco Pavilion and Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar in the Italy Pavilion. The price is $35 per adult (ages 10 and up), plus tax and gratuity. This does not include VIP viewing of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.
This summer, June 7 – Aug. 9 every Saturday night from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. guest can enjoy Harambe Nights in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Harambe Nights is the first nightly event to take place in the park. It celebrates the 20th anniversary of Disney’s The Lion King. Guests will enjoy a new performance of The Lion King featuring a celebrity narrator, live orchestra, cast and choir in the new Harambe Theatre. Afterwards, hit the street for the Harambe Street Party with Afro-pop rhythm performances and various African samplings, desserts, beer, wine and soda. There will also be exclusive merchandise available for purchase. The price is $119 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $79 per child (ages 3 – 9), plus tax.
