Same crap, different day.
The same politicians politicizing away. The same sales people selling away. The same sins afflicting us all. The same hypocrisy, from the same bureaucracy, with worsening results. As the poor man cries, and the Veteran dies, does anyone really care? As the saying goes, 'the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.'
But the sad thing is that only the poor care. Thank God we have the poor Christ.
Yet, even the cursed will have a season in the Son.
"One night while Paul was in Corinth, the Lord said to him in a vision, 'Do not be afraid. Go on speaking, and do not be silent, for I am with you.'" Acts 18:9-18
PC be damned. Church leaders who don't want 'the little guy' to speak the truth--because he might steal their limelight--be damned! Obama-god ideology be damned! The coming Hillary-god ideology be damned!
If you know the truth and don't speak it, be prepared to suffer the consequences on judgment day. Niceness and politeness will not get you to heaven. You can look all you want, but you won't find a virtue called 'friendly.' Being a social butterfly while millions of babies are ripped to shreds won't win you jack! Networking, and hobnobbing, with secularists and socialists, while the Church is persecuted, marriage is under attack, families are irreversibly destroyed, and our nation becomes Euro-trash II, is the mark of a traitor, a Judas, a member of 'Legion,' for there are many.
Therefore, you must speak the Truth, even if you are rejected (by some 'Catholics and 'Christians'), even if you are censored, even if you are mocked, and even if you are persecuted.
"For the LORD, the Most High, the awesome, is the great king over all the earth." Psalm 47:2-7
Taking Pascals wager, in light of years of underemployment, and family difficulties, and, consequently, faith struggles, I'd rather place my bet on the thought of the Almighty God of the Cross of Mercy than on myself, or on any boob or boobette currently shining on the popular scene today.
In other words, I'd rather die with faith (?) in abstract Jesus than in worship of the Barack or the Hillary or the Rock Star of the month.
"Jesus said to his disciples: 'Amen, amen, I say to you, you will weep and mourn, while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy.'" John 16:20-23
For here on earth there are a few shits and giggles, mingled, in much suffering--at least for the poor and accursed like me. But then there is only the nothingness of death. At least with Jesus there is hope, no matter how faint.
Hope that the cursed will have a season in the Son.
