Cindy George, Houston Chronicle’s article, ‘Houston clergy urge lawmakers to defeat immigration enforcement plan,' is a damning testimony against the church’s mission.
Separation of church and state, defines the ‘distance in the relationship between organized religion and the nation state.’ If by law, the government is suppose to honor that agreement, what’s the church’s responsibility?
The church should be arresting, convicting and converting souls by saving and preparing souls for that heavenly journey, which does not include, arresting, convicting and converting souls to socialism, which will ultimately destroy souls, as well as, destroy the church’s responsibility.
This current administration is full of community organizers, who thrive off division, by way of control and in the end, the disguise of social justice, is often a detriment to the community, and in this case, the country. Now that the budget and debt ceiling arguments are over, it’s back to the familiar waters of amnesty for illegal immigrant.
Illegal, actually means, against the law, and as such, one would have to question, why would the church aid and abet one group of criminals and ignore other groups of criminals with basically the same level of offenses against society. That represents, either discrimination, or community organization of the church.
Community organizing changes the face of any community by removing individualism and replacing it with rewards and re-enforcement of poverty by way of subsidies. This administration is changing the face of the country by removing the spiritual nature of the country, by replacing it with immigrants, legal and illegal, who agree with it, America is no longer a Christian nation.
Here’s just a thought, did this administration exempt the church’s religious beliefs and practices with it’s Affordable Health Care? We are endowed by our creator to be ‘fruitful and multiply,’ yet the church see no ‘distance’ between itself and the government with respect to abortion, birth control and now, amnesty, completely without any form of compensation whatsoever.
When you remove the very thing that’s holding the country up, congregations, the people and the country suffer tremendous losses, which will be duly noted in the church’s ‘book of records.’
Remember, we are to ‘render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.
