Police are searching for a missing Spartanburg, South Carolina woman who has been missing since Friday.

Evelyn Shelton, 42, was last seen around 10:00 p.m. on Friday, after leaving a friend's house on North Dean Street.  She was there for a study date and the man is not considered a suspect.  Her Chevrolet HHR was food parked in a lot across the street from Williams Bar  & Grill on Hayne Street the following day.

Police are asking for the public to come forward if they saw Evelyn or her car in the area during the weekend.  They are worried that she may be the victim of foul play.

"She wouldn't not just left and not notified somebody of something.  Somebody would have known something," her aunt, Rita Mims said.

Evelyn is 5'2" tall, 140 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.
