Current WWE tag-team champion Evan Bourne is set to return to the WWE after his 30 day suspension concludes today, according to a Thursday December 1st report by PWInsider.com. Bourne was suspended for failing a drug test and violating the WWE Wellness Program. Bourne apparently smoked fake marijuana at a party with R-Truth who was also suspended but not until after he competed at Survivor Series and the following RAW.
However, R-Truth's suspension was highly controversial as Bourne was suspended immediately but Truth got to continue wrestling for another 3 weeks despite failing the drug test at the same time as Bourne. Evan Tweeted about the hypocrisy without mentioning any names. WWE let R-Truth continue to wrestle as he was in the main event of the big Survivor Series PPV against The Rock and John Cena.
Bourne is expected to be back on TV for the December 5th edition of Monday Night RAW. However, he might being losing the tag-team titles upon his return. According to a recent report by The Wrestling Observer, the stable of Primo, Epico, Hunico and Rosa are rumored to be in line for a tag-team title run.
Kingston and Bourne, collectively called Air Boom, have had the titles since August 22nd after defeating Otunga and McGillicutty.
