Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling expecting Baby #1

It's a bun in the oven for yet another Hollywood couple. Ok! Magazine reports that Eva Mendes is seven months pregnant, and hottie Ryan Gosling is the father.

Mendes is thrilled. "She’s been ready for motherhood for a while now, and to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her[,]" a source close to the couple told the magazine.

Apparently motherhood wasn't always a huge priority for the stunning 40-year old. Back in 2011, Mendes told Stylist magazine that she didn't feel the urge to become a parent just yet:

"Maybe I’ll do it when I’m 41 or something; that’s happened to a lot of people I know who decided not to. I don’t feel the ticking clock… I feel I have time. Whether that’s a reality or not, I don’t know. I’ll just be patient."

Mendes began dating Gosling, who is 33, in 2011 after they co-starred in the movie "The Place Beyond the Pines," but have been on-again, off-again recently. However, the baby news seems to have reinvigorated their relationship. According to Ok!'s source, "Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he’d be there no matter what. This is it for him."

That might not be good enough for the new momma. Ok's source continues, "Ryan doesn’t think they need to marry just because they are having a baby, but Eva believes it’s important to have their lives fully intertwined."

Will the parents-to-be make it official before the baby comes? Or will they follow the new trend of getting married afterwards? Only time will tell!
