Eva Mendes and other celebs talk Valentine's Day

Eva Mendes claims that she's going to watch Ryan Gosling in "The Notebook" for Valentine's Day

Eva Mendes made a shocking confession about how she plans to spend her Valentine's Day.

According to a Feb. 12 report by The Huffington Post, the actress revealed that she's going to spend the romantic holiday crying alone. "I'll probably just order a deep-dish and watch the 'Notebook' or something ... Just cry, weep," she said during her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Eva's comments came days after rumors surfaced claiming that she and longtime love Ryan Gosling recently split. OK! Magazine even reported that the odds are good that Ryan Gosling will get back with his ex-girlfriend, his "The Notebook" costar Rachel McAdams.

There's a good chance that Eva Mendes was just trying to make a joke about the breakup rumors since it's hard to imagine her spending her Valentine's Day watching Ryan Gosling fall in love with another woman. She also told Ellen that she's "not a big Valentine's Day person" and denied rumors that she's pregnant.

Eva isn't the only star who has recently been talking about Valentine's Day. If guys are looking for a last-minute gift for girls who already own a copy of "The Notebook," another Hollywood hottie's gorgeous girlfriend has a suggestion. Bradley Cooper's ladylove, the lovely Suki Waterhouse, recently talked to Byrdie about the best Valentine's Day gifts a guy can get a girl. The Burberry model suggested Burberry Brit Rhythm Fragrance or a skydiving trip. Hopefully Bradley saw that blurb.

"The Millionaire Matchmaker" star Patti Stanger had a different suggestion. She took to Twitter to tell single ladies to gift themselves with a copy of Brandi Glanville's new book, "Drinking and Dating: P.S. Social Media Is Ruining Romance." Maybe they'll learn how not to date from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star who keeps finding lots of Mr. Right Nows instead of Mr. Right.

"2 Broke Girls" star Kat Dennings also had the single ladies in her thoughts when she tweeted, "Don't let Valentine's Day bum you out." However, Mariah Carey sounded a little bummed out about her Valentine's Day plans during an interview with MTV. She said of hubby Nick Cannon, "He's leaving me on Valentine's Day!" She revealed that Nick's going to be working, but she went on to try to make herself feel better by saying, "It's okay. I'm going to be with Dem Babies." Tamera Mowry is also spending the romantic holiday with her offspring. She tweeted, "Where are my hubby and I going for Valentines day?? Walt Disney World with lil baby Aden!"

It sounds like the plans of Chris Brown's on-again, off-again girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, are a little more X-rated. "Love coming hereeee! Just got my bikini lasered.. Ladies get it right for Vday haha," she tweeted.

Do your Valentine's Day plans involve "The Notebook," Disney World, or hair removal?
