Eva Longoria denied rumors that her husband, Tony Parker, filed for divorce earlier this week only to later confirm reports that she filed for divorce today. In the papers, Longoria cites irreconcilable differences, which seems to be code for infidelity when celebrities are involved. Longoria expressed her sadness through twitter, stating, "It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce," the Desperate Housewives star tweeted on Wednesday.
According to tmz.com, Mario Lopez from “Extra” has stated that Longoria told Lopez about “hundreds of text messages from another woman” on Tony Parker’s phone. The other woman is said to be the wife of one of Parker’s teammates. Longoria says that Parker cheated on her earlier in their marriage and that he kept in touch with the woman on Facebook, according to Lopez. "She is devastated, she wants us all to know that," Lopez says. "But she's strong."
