Deadline reported yesterday that two more actresses have joined the cast of Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For".
The two new additions are Julia Garner and Eva Green. Eva Green is slated to play Ava Lord, the titular dame in the movie. Frank Miller, creator of the graphic novel series and co-director on the film, remarked that Ava is “every man’s most glorious dreams come true, she’s also every man’s darkest nightmares”.
As for Julia Garner, she is an actresses who's gotten attention due to her roles in "Martha Marcy May Marlene" and "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower". Julia Garner will be playing a young stripper opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Johnny character.
In addition to the three mentioned, the impressive cast includes Josh Brolin, Bruce Willis, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, Dennis Haysbert, Juno Temple, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Michael Madsen, Rosario Dawson, Jamie King, Jamie Chung, Devon Aoki, and Clive Owen.
Production is currently underway in Austin at Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios.
The film opens October 4th 2013.
