Rowan Spracklen, born in Ethiopia, is now gracing the cover of the November issue of Babytalk Magazine. The 14-month-old beat out 50,000 other applicants for the coveted spot on the cover.

The new magazine was revealed on Good Morning America on Monday, and the magazine editor said Rowan had a personality like no other child they saw.

November also happens to be National Adoption Month, and Rowan, who now lives in Erie, Pennsylvania, was abandoned at a police station in Ethiopia. His parents said he was in an orphanage there until they adopted him at six months old.

His parents also said he has adjusted very well and they feel very lucky to have added him to their family, which also consists of three older siblings.

Spracklen also won a $1,000 gift card to The Children's Place.
