ETHAN LIPTON AND HOWARD FISHMAN

Dubbed the city's "Best Lounge Act" by New York Magazine, Ethan Lipton & his Orchestra has been featured on "Soundcheck," "Weekend Edition," "The World" as well as on the Clash album cover for Sandinista. The quartet, based in NYC, are comprised of Ethan Lipton (vocals), Eben Levy (guitar), Ian Riggs (bass) and Vito Dieterle (sax). Among the numerous venues they have played are Joe’s Pub, Bryant Park, Celebrate Brooklyn, the Bell House and Barbes. Ethan Lipton & his Orchestra have been together going on eight years now, and have released five albums.

Critically acclaimed singer, guitarist, composer and bandleader Howard Fishman's music has been praised by The New York Times as "transcending time and idiom." Beginning his musical career on the streets of New Orleans and in the subways of New York, Fishman landed his first major engagement at the Algonquin Oak Room in 1999. Since then, he has headlined in some of the most prestigious venues in the US and abroad; among them Lincoln Center, The Great American Music Hall, The Pasadena Playhouse, Le Petit Journal in Paris, The Steppenwolf Theatre, The Blue Note and Joe's Pub.

200 Hudson Street features a performance stage with full bar for live music, comedy, theater, digital media, performance art, speakers and dance; a 72-seat movie theater featuring a variety of domestic and international films, shorts and digital media; a wireless cafe, serving fresh, local food and drinks; a lecture hall and rooms for talks, tastings, classes and more; and an art gallery offering rotating exhibits.
