Fashionistas of Atlanta, fashion house Etam debuted their Natalia Vodianova Spring/Summer 2012 collection in a very much “over the top” production to delight and captivate their patrons at Les Beaux-Arts de Paris on January 23, 2012 in Paris, France.
Etam’s show came complete with French poodles in pastels and some well-known female musicians to accompany the rollout of designs. Indeed itt seemed to be a thorough success with French A-listers attending such as Samuel Benchetrit and Virginie Efira, Philippe Katerine and Julie Depardieu and Melanie Thierry and Raphael.
The entertainment lineup included no less than the Pointer Sisters, Sister Sledge, Grace Jones, Chaka Khan and Gloria Gaynor, who provided a fun and festive trip through memory lane with their disco hits from the 70’s and 80’s.
Their collection isn’t just about lingerie though, as Etam had a good selection of nighties, swimsuits as well as evening wear – loved the long-sleeved black and bronze lace sheath!
Quite predictable that lace would take off this year with a vengeance thanks to the Duchess of Cambridge, a.k.a. Kate Middleton popularizing it – no surprises there…
