Esurance did not run an ad during this year’s Super Bowl, and saved a boat load of cash in the process – $1.5 million, according to the insurance company. So, on Feb. 2, 2014, after the big game ends, Esurance is running an ad featuring the voice behind the commercials, actor John Krasinski, announcing its big giveaway, according to BuzzFeed.
Anyone who uses the hashtag #EsuranceSave30 between 4 p.m. ET today and 4 a.m. Feb. 4, will be entered to win the $1.5 million.
BuzzFeed notes that one random person who tweets the hashtag, regardless of what is said in the tweet, will win the dough.
In addition, there is no limit on Esurancecontest entries per person, however, the Twitter account must be public.
The contest is open to U.S. Twitter users except those in Alaska and Hawaii, and automated tweets are ineligible, according to BuzzFeed.
The big winner will learn his or her fate on the Feb. 5 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
