The Entertainment Software Rating Board has revealed their rating summary for the upcoming Playstation 3 title, Killzone HD. The remastered game received an M (for Mature) rating due to contents relating to blood, strong language and violence. You can check out the latest screenshots from the first-person shooter in the slideshow at the top of this article and the full rating summary from the ESRB below:
This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of elite soldiers defending a colonial planet that has fallen under siege. Players use machine guns, shotguns, sniper rifles, explosives, and melee attacks to kill human soldiers in frenetic combat. Battles are highlighted by realistic gunfire, explosions, and screams of pain; enemies emit large splashes of blood when shot. Gushing sounds can be heard when soldiers' throats are slit at close range, and additional acts of violence occur during cutscenes (e.g., firefights between opposing factions). The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “a*shole” can be heard in the dialogue.
