ESPN Tebow: Hannah Storm, Mark Schlereth caught gossiping live at Super Bowl

Even when Tim Tebow isn't around, he is still a hot topic of conversation. However the conversation can become quite uncomfortable when you are on live television and you don’t realize it.

According to Deadspin this is exactly what happened to ESPN commentators Hannah Storm and Mark Schlereth this afternoon while they were covering Super Bowl XLVII.

Storm and Schlereth were just shooting the breeze about how the former Bronco (Schlereth) was discussing another former Bronco (Tebow) with some of the current Denver staff in a not so flattering manner.

Schlereth is heard saying “I’m going to tell you. I talked to a bunch of Broncos coaches who said ‘I just don’t know if (Tebow’s) a fluid enough athlete to go over and play tight end … they say he doesn’t catch the ball naturally either.”

It’s not a big deal to discuss a player, no matter if you think he is good or bad, but it was rather funny to see the looks on the ESPN commentator’s faces when they realized they were on live TV.

There is one thing that is a bit more disturbing then this story; the rumors that the Jets were possibly interested in QB JaMarcus Russell.

Really?

Tebow can’t start and play one full game to show what he can do, but the Jets considered bringing JaMarcus Russell in? If that rumor is true, you really have to wonder who is running that team. Tebow time is on his way out of New York, Sanchez can't complete a pass and you are looking at Russell?

Stick with the kid from Alabama.

Russell is reportedly going to attempt a comeback next season.
