For those of us who are sports lovers, ESPN ScoreCenter is a must add app for all iPhone and iPod Touch users.
As a sports addict, I always feel the need to know sports scores and news on an instantaneous basis. ESPN ScoreCenter has delivered the goods as you can get scores for all the major American Sports and the World Soccer Leagues. A downside is that there is no horse racing or fighting of any sort on the app. But this is still far and away the best scoring app around.
ESPN ScoreCenter gives you the ability to pick favorite teams so that you can access their scores quickly and pick favorite sports so you can view the scores around that sport’s league. The bottom line feature is really what makes this app different from the other scoring apps as it gives you the major sports stories that aren’t scores like a player signing or suspension. You can also access full game summaries and box scores which is also a plus for fantasy freaks.
All in all this is a great app that puts a micro version of ESPN in your fingertips. Even better it allows you to much easier tune out their incessant coverage of Brett Favre, Tiger Woods, Danica Patrick, Lance Armstrong, and Steroids. ESPN: If they’re not winning, don’t spend 95% of your coverage talking about them. It they’re not playing at all, don’t even mention them. I digress though. ScoreCenter is just a great app that any sports lover should download. It’s free and will always be a relevant app as more updates are made.

This app is good. I like the look and feel but will not use it as there is no CFL. Add that and this would be a great app.
