After Stanford defeated Wisconsin in a 20-14 victory at the Rose Bowl, ESPN reporter Heather Cox, tried to get an interview on the sidelines with Stanford coach David Shaw, says FOX Sports.
However, the ESPN reporter's failed attempt was because Shaw pretty much brushed her off after giving some brief words. Heather Cox expresses her dismay by saying,
"Are you kidding?"
She was heard saying that after Shaw pretty much blew off the ESPN reporter's attempt at an interview. Heather Cox was left there while he was led off by a member of the staff for the trophy presentation.
After the trophy presentation, Shaw must have felt somewhat bad about the situation, and he then came back to finish the interview. Heather Cox tries again and starts off the interview with this "hard-hitting" question:
"Coach, before the game you told me you never have real highs and you don't have lows and that sometimes it can be a curse. Are you allowing yourself to be a little emotional now?"
You can watch the awkward moment unfold on the video which is located to the left of this article.
