What does SILENCE taste like?
Join Museum Educator and French Culinary Institute-educated chef Maite Gomez-Rejón for an evening of provocative art, inventive recipes and hands-on culinary technique during the Savoring Silence Cooking Art History Class at El Segundo Museum of Art on Friday, April 25 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Explore the elements of art through looking, cooking and savoring with ArtBites after an informal tour of ESMoA’s current in-gallery Experience 09, SILENCE.
Attendees will then work together to prepare and enjoy a seasonal meal inspired by the gallery talk which explores the themes of color, texture, line, space and shape.
The fee is $95 per person (payable to ArtBites) and includes the tour, recipes, all ingredients, full sit-down meal in the gallery and wine.
