According to the Georgia Department of Corrections website, escapee's Fred Dalton Brooks and Buell David Emberson were recaptured Tuesday night without incident three miles from Walker State Prison.They were found by GDC personnel with assistance from local authorities.
Chattanooga News Channel 9 reported that three local men in Noble first discovered the pair sleeping inside truck parked in a pole barn. Jerome Jackson was the first to discover the inmates. Jackson and another friend were helping Roosevelt Barkley move his old Nova from the barn to Chattanooga. The truck was parked right next to the Nova.
When the three friends confronted the men, the pair left the area and were captured shortly after and not far away.

The two inmates escaped from walker State Prison on Monday, February 6, 2012 at approximately 9:15pm. The pair is believed to have fashioned a device that allowed them to breach the fence at the prison.
The Walker State Prison is a medium security facility located approximately 15 south of Chattanooga in Rock Springs, Georgia.
