Ski season is in full swing, and for those couples who are interested in a weekend getaway from Denver, Livingsocial.com is partnering with Chipeta Solar Springs Resort in Ridgway, Colorado. This package starts at $189 for a two-night stay for two in a Standard Lodge Room, Sundays through Wednesdays. Stay for two nights Thursdays through Saturdays and guests pay $226. Two people stay three nights any days of the week for $495, including a choice of four Telluride lift tickets or four Chipeta massages. The package also includes daily breakfast vouchers for two and daily thermal pool passes for two.
Telluride Ski Area is a 40-minute drive from Ridgway, the starting point for the National Scenic Byway. Cross country skiing is available at Ironton Park and Top of the Pines and backcountry skiers can tackle the San Juan Hut System. Chipeta Solar Springs Resort offers a quiet on-site spa, saltwater thermal pools and yoga classes taught by certified professionals. There is a bit of nightlife in Ridgway at the Four Corners Café which offers live music.
Visit Livingsocial.com to select which getaway works for your schedule and buy your voucher by January 22. Guests with lift ticket packages must stay by April 7, 2013, and guests with packages including massages need to stay by May 15, 2013. There is a $7 per day resort fee and taxes are not included in the package.
