Winter is the best time to enjoy vacations in the Mexican beaches. It does not matter where in Mexico, you do plan to travel. From December to May, visitors have a great opportunity to benefit from a delightful, warm weather along 6,835 miles of sea, sand, sun… and fun!
It’s amazing to find out that there are in Mexico different types of sand and ocean waves. So, some beaches are great for surfing, but others are wonderful places to take your kids to swim in a safe bay. Even, there are some exclusive nudist beaches only for couples or gay people!
One of the favorites of all the times for winter vacation is Acapulco. This traditional resort in the Pacific Coast has fun for everyone. It was once the fashion meeting place for millionaires and Hollywood stars, but it was set aside at the end of the twentieth century because of the boom of new international tourist centers like Cancun, Los Cabos, Huatulco and other beach destinations in Mexico.
However, Acapulco is still an excellent beach destination. Mostly, in winter, because of the weather and its average sea water temperature of 77° F. The natural beauty of this stopping port for some cruises is a must-see for visitors.
American spring breakers love Acapulco. However, no one should wait for the end of the winter to visit this incredible paradise. Visitors can arrive anytime in December, January or February with certainty that the sun will be on top every day, and they will have a great time and luxury at an amazingly low cost.
The city’s nightlife is famous worldwide, since it is one of the best of Mexico. Even so, Acapulco also has too much fun for kids since there are few interesting aquatic amusement parks, like Papagayo and Cici.
However, the tour will not be complete if visitors do not watch the traditional La Quebrada cliff divers show during the sunset: Brave guys who climb barefooted a cliff to dive some 125 feet into the sea.
Escape this winter to the sunny Acapulco for a weekend. You’ll get back again and again!
