The 3D animated family comedy “Escape From Planet Earth” is set to hit theaters on Valentine’s Day of 2013.
Cal Brunker directs this hilarious comedy about the planet Baab, where astronaut Scorch Supernova becomes a national hero. The blue aliens love Scorch because of his heroic feats.
Plot: Scorch is always with his nerdy brother, Gary. Gary is in charge of mission control at BASA and calls everything by the book. Chief Lena tells the brothers there has been an SOS received from a vicious group of aliens from another planet and Scorch takes off on a mission to deal with the out of control alien group. Gary has warned Scorch not to get involved in the mission due to the nastiness of the planet occupants.
Scorch ignores the warnings and finds himself caught up in a trap set by evil Shanker. Now it is completely up to his brother Gary to locate him and help him escape from Shanker’s evil grasp. Gary not only has to save his brother, but the planet, his wife Kira and their son, Kip.

“Escape From Planet Earth” will be released by the Weinstein Company and is under production titles by Blue Yonder Films, Jon Shestack Productions, Mainframe Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment.
