Erin Andrews explains 50 kiss: If you watched the Daytona 500, then you likely caught the massively uncomfortable moment between Erin Andrews and 50 Cent.
When the announcers cut to Andrews, who was sifting through a crowd at the race, she stumbled upon 50 Cent. As 50 approaches, he attempts to kiss Erin. Erin, thinking 50 was trying to kiss her on the mouth, aggressively moves her face from side to side to avoid his lips.
Eventually, 50 does kiss Erin’s cheek. And that’s when Erin attempts to hightail it out of the extremely brief interview with the rapper.
Now, Erin is finally talking about that crazy moment. According to Yahoo, Erin blames herself for the awkward encounter, saying she was “rushed” during 50’s interview.
"I went and said hello [to him]. We're actually business partners - I'm one of the spokespeople for SK Energy," she explained, referring to the energy drink company co-founded by the rapper. "He grabbed me, I went one way, they screamed 'Danica,' I whipped my neck, I got whiplash and it's fine.
"As long as he makes me a lot of money with SK energy I'll be happy!" she added, laughing.
Along with working in sports, Erin Andrews has appeared on “Dancing with the Stars.”
